Internship Year 2026
Opportunity Description
Amendolaro Boutique is a locally owned retail business that has grown from a downtown gift shop into a destination for apparel, jewelry, watches, gifts, home décor, and lifestyle products for both men and women. The business combines a welcoming in-store shopping experience with a growing e-commerce presence, active social media channels, live online shopping events, and specialty services like permanent jewelry appointments. With new products arriving throughout the year, Amendolaro continues to evolve while providing the personal service and attention to detail that independent retailers are known for.
This internship offers the opportunity to learn how a modern retail business combines marketing, e-commerce, merchandising, and customer service to create a successful shopping experience both in-store and online. Working directly with owner Justin Amendolaro, you’ll gain hands-on experience creating marketing content, photographing merchandise, managing online product listings, supporting e-commerce operations, and helping execute digital advertising campaigns. You’ll also assist with day-to-day business operations, giving you a well-rounded understanding of how an independent retailer grows and adapts in today’s marketplace. As the semester progresses, additional projects may be introduced based on your interests, skills, and the needs of the business.
